Hello and welcome to the broomblog!
This blog represents 'round two' of our blogging efforts, with a brief hiatus of, ooh, 16 years!? Our first blog chronicled our trip around Australia, and was hosted on geocities. I'm sure most of you will never have heard of geocities, since it ceased to exist quite a few years ago, and with it most of those original pages. Luckily we were able to retrieve some of them from printed (gasp) copies my parents kept (for which I had silently mocked them for oh so many years ago, but thanked wholeheartedly when geocities went bellyup!) One day we may try to re type them onto this site because, of course, blogger.com will be here forever, right?
Anyway. There'll be a lot of this digressing.
The first topic we'll be writing about in any depth is our trip to India. So, prepare to be immersed in all things broom as we make our way around the subcontinent.
