Sadly the remainder of the blog has been lost in the mists of time... including the engine blowing up and being stranded in Hughenden for a couple of weeks during (very) wet season, the campground owners taking pity on our pathetic excuse for a tent and gifting us the use of a camping trailer, the replacement engine arriving from Brisbane, us still being stuck in Hughenden due to flooding, eventually leaving Hughenden and realizing the replacement engine was a dud which burned about as much oil as petrol (and it used a LOT of petrol), eventually arriving in a very flooded Townsville (water over the bumpers), deciding to turn right to Brisbane instead of left to Cairns to escape the never-ending rain, arriving in Brisbane and camping out on the porch of our new friends' Queenslander in Alderley, and eventually moving in to our very own room inside the house....
